Phasewell is not a crisis service, therapy, or medical advice. It’s emotional first aid from an AI voice — something to reach for in a hard moment, not a substitute for professional care. Phasewell is a voice you can talk to for a few minutes when you’re emotionally overwhelmed. The voice is powered by AI — it is not a human, a therapist, a doctor, or a counselor. It’s designed to help you feel heard and steadier in the moment, and then let you go.
Phasewell is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. It is not intended for children or teens.
As little as possible:
• The conversation, while it happens. Your words are processed in real time so the voice can respond. Our AI provider may keep a text transcript of the call to run and improve the service. We do not make an audio recording of your voice for anyone to replay.
• A short read of how it went — the feedback you tap afterward (like better / same / worse), so we can learn whether Phasewell actually helps.
• Your email — only if you choose to leave it, so we can remember you or follow up. You can skip it; the call works without it.
We don’t ask for your name, an account, or any payment. We don’t sell any of this, and we never use it to advertise to you.
To make the voice work, your conversation is handled by trusted technology providers: ElevenLabs (voice) and Anthropic (the underlying AI), and the site and any email you leave are handled by Netlify. They process this data on our behalf to provide the service.
To provide the conversation in the moment, to understand whether Phasewell actually helps people (so we can make it better), and — if you left your email — to remember you or reach you. We do not sell your data, and we don’t use it to advertise to you.
You can ask us to delete your email and your conversation records at any time — just email us. If you don’t leave an email, there’s nothing tying a conversation to you.
Phasewell is in active testing. The service is provided as-is, may change, and can’t promise a particular outcome. It is not emergency, medical, or mental-health care. In a crisis, always reach a real person or 988/911.
